Planning a brand revitalization, Members 1st Federal Credit Union sought an architectural aesthetic that would communicate this brand evolution while focusing on visibility, accessibility, and security. Adjacent to two major roadways, the site offers a high level of exposure. Strategic orientation presents visitors with the front façade immediately upon entering the property.
A focal point is the prominent shed roof, finished in the trademark red color of Members 1st. This roof element guides visitors to the front entrance and suggests linear movement along its axis to the lobby within. Clerestory windows provide daylight to the lobby while the red accent continues to the ceiling surface and flows down the rear lobby wall. Surrounding offices are separated from the lobby by continuous glass partitions. Staff workspace, break area and mechanical / IT rooms are arranged behind the teller counter, maintaining critical site lines while providing privacy and security, where required.
